COCKTAIL RECIPE: KENTUCKY MULE
We’ve swapped the vodka for bourbon, and the copper mug for a mason jar. The glass actually insulates way better than copper – keeping your beverage cool and refreshing for that much longer! If you don’t have any mason jars handy, of course a standard 8 ounce drinking glass works just fine.
- 1 ½ ounces bourbon whiskey (we recommend Eastside Distilling’s Burnside Bourbon)
- ½ ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
- 4 ounces ginger beer (give Fentiman’s a try for a great ginger bite!)
- 1 lime, cut in half
Muddle one half of the lime in the bottom of your mason jar. Fill with ice, and add bourbon and lime juice. Top off with ginger beer, and stir gently to combine. Cut a wedge from your remaining lime, and use to garnish.
