Cool Summer Citrus Slaw
A bright and fresh take on a beloved classic, our citrus slaw is a great addition to any picnic or barbecue. Perfect on a hot summer day!
- 1 to 1 ¼ pounds cabbage, shredded
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Juice of 1 small lemon
- 2 to 2 ¼ teaspoons salt (to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped
- ¼ bunch cilantro, finely chopped
Combine mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create dressing. Coat cabbage with dressing in a large mixing bowl. Toss in mint and cilantro.
Allow slaw to rest for 20 minutes in refrigerator before transferring to serving bowl.
