Crave Catering At the Bravo Wedding Affair
Simple and Elegant at the Show –
I’m glad we had a chance to connect with so many great people at the Bravo Wedding Affair last Sunday, February 22, at the Embassy Suites. We had a great time! With all the fashion shows and great energy, it was hard not to.
The Event Coordination by EJP Events was superb and it showed their passion and experience for creating one of a kind events and weddings. Royce Mason, Nick Appap, and Octavio from Royces’ Prop Shop put together the space with a platinum touch. Chari Barber of Event Floral definitely brought the BLING, with her beautiful arrangements and sparkles. Much thanks to Dave Bigler of Bigler Productions for putting together that great looking video.
Special thanks to all the teams of professionals who made the Conel Linburg Room the talk of the show.
Justin from Paradox for the music, David of David Barss Photography, Katherine and the Event Cosmetics team, Fahti and the Fada team for the gorgeous hair and makeup on models and brides, Sara and the Love, June team for the incredible fashion show, the EC team for the models, Andrea at August Veils, Kim at Sewing Solutions, Deb at Queen Anne Victorian Mansion, Soheila at Soleil Medical Spa, and of course the entire Bravo! team of rockin’ gals!
We were especially proud of all the wonderful compliments our guests had regarding our simple yet elegant treats. The vegan salad rolls were a favorite as were the Bread Pudding Bars. Of course the real adventurous were raving about our tuna crostini with that extra wasabi kick!

Thanks again for those who joined us in the Col. Lindbergh Ballroom on Sunday February 22, 2009 for the Bravo Wedding Affair. We really enjoyed meeting all of you! It was truly an honor to share the journey towards what will be one of the most important events in a lifetime. Your wedding Day!!
What a time we had!
We came, we listened, and we heard you loud and clear. These are some of the interesting things we observed. Over half of the folks we talked to were planning their wedding for 2009. Less than half were planning for 2010.
Almost all the Weddings for 2009 and 2010 are for the summer time.
Weddings at a Private Home, the Family or a Friends Farm, or on Private land are the norm for the next 2 years.
90% of the people we talked to were concerned with their BUDGET.
Increased reliance on family and friends to help plan, pay, and provide some of the services
Couples are choosing to go green as a reflection of their commitment to being eco-conscious.
Off-peak weddings; Mornings, Afternoons, Fridays, Sundays, and weekdays even.
Nix the wedding cake. We are getting requests for some tasty and different alternatives. From fruit tarts and home made pie, to house made seasonal fruit sorbet.
Whatever you decide, remember to have fun!
